My hair stylist messed up my hair. HELP!?

My is light blonde, but my stylist put very dark highlights in my hair that makes my blond look gray. Should I buy a blonde hair color to make it all one color, or will it make it another color. Please help.

My hair stylist messed up my hair. HELP!?

Oh Im sorry! I would reccomend going back to your solon and telling her you dont like it. she should do it again for free!

hope it looks great!

My hair stylist messed up my hair. HELP!?

i wouldn't do that, i would go back and bleach of the highlights

My hair stylist messed up my hair. HELP!?

I would go back to the salon and talk to the owner about corrective color and see if they can't fix it for you either for free or reduced cost.. If it's a reputable salon they should help you free of charge..

My hair stylist messed up my hair. HELP!?

It depends how dark your highlights are. If they are dark enough, dying your hair a darker blonde won't effect the highlights.

My hair stylist messed up my hair. HELP!?

From my experience,if they mess up your hair once, don't go back to them.I've done that and I so so so regretted letting them touch my hair again.

Before doing anything drastic, putting anything more chemical on your hair or letting anyone touch it, I'm going to recommend that you use Dawn dish detergent on your hair,it makes hair color fade out allot. Make sure to use conditoner after.

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

my hair is graying around the sides and front..i am in my early 30s and would like to stop it before it gets out of hand. Any natural remedies?

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

To check graying of hair, mix lemon juice in olive oil, beat till frothy and apply on scalp and wash off after an hour. Premature graying of hair can be postponed by using a strong decotion of black tea and a tablespoon of salt, strain and apply to the roots for 45 minutes and wash with water. Don't shampoo. Please check out http://useinfo-grayhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

dye it.

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

No, I'm sorry, but there isn't. Natural remedies for stopping gray hairs is like beauty cream. A joke. Dye it.

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

bald your hair so that your worry will go away. watch a shaolin showdown. it is cool.

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

There is a brand of hair dye--Nice %26amp; Easy, that has 100% gray coverage.

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

There isn't anything you can do to "stop" it, but I know getting highlights helps hide the gray a lot. My mom has been doing that these days and she doesn't have to color it as much as she had to before. With two or three different colors in your hair plus the gray, it all kinda blends in and you don't notice it as fast.

What can i do to stop my hair from graying more than it has?

spray paint it black lol ooh i know use a permanet black marker

How can i prevent my hair from graying?

i am in my twenties and have naturally black hair. however, i noticed some of my hair strands are graying. it is so frustrating. my scalp is severely sensitive that using any dye is out of the question. do you know any natural dyes or anything i can use to prevent this? i am desperate. help!

How can i prevent my hair from graying?

You can use henna. It is proven to be natural, but if you don't want artificial color, then I suggest you eat lots of pepper. When your hair gets enough circulation from pepper, then your hair will be healthy. Eating lots of copper is good too, because it optimizes your natural hair color. Copper can be found in fish.

How can i prevent my hair from graying?

I am surprised too......I am not going grey but people come up with surprising bits and pieces...Will try that too ah ah !! Report It

How can i prevent my hair from graying?

gray comes from stress so just be more calm and also dye it!

How can i prevent my hair from graying?

The simple solution do yoga and pranayam of Swami Ram Dev ji. And rub your nails of your hands with each other.

How can i prevent my hair from graying?

Going gray or white is genetic. I have been going white since I was 16. I had the most envied white streak in my hair for years.

The science behind Gray hair cause is when the cells in our hair follicles called Melanocytes start to lose their color generating power. As we age these cells degenerate causing the pigment in our hair to lose color. Over time the more the cells age the more prominent the Gray hair will become. If your parents or grandparents went gray then you will probably inherit their gene and go Gray as well

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol

isnt in patches. if you get up close, im sure you can see it.just a gray---or should i say WHITE--hair here and then one there. my ? is----do woman like men who gradually go gray or like them to color it. I'm not tryin to look 24 but yet I don't want to look 40 yet either. What do you think ladies? What is more attractive??

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

The only time that I have ever paid attention to a man's hair because of the color was because someone I knew - a very attractive 46 year old man - was very age conscious and started coloring his hair. He got the wrong shade for him and ended up with a much darker shade than his own - really looked odd - I wanted to laugh, but didn't want to hurt his feelings. In his case, it detracted from his very attractive self. Hair color is a strange thing for a man. A young guy can die his hair red, blue or striped if he wants and he is just following fashion. Women can bleach, tease, curl, add hairpieces, color and cut - and it is fashion. But men have not had that freedom where their hair is concerned - to color or curl their hair in a way that makes them look very different from their normal selves. Somehow we think it is vain, or they are afraid of getting "old" or somehow it makes them appear silly if it is noticeable.

Good advice. When my son was 19 and had hair below his shoulders my Dad said "You've just got to get him to do something about that hair". I told him that it was his hair, on his head, and that there were more important battles to have with a teenager than hairstyles. He is 32 now and it is about 3/4 inches all over his head. He keeps it short for work and buzzes it in the hot summer. My point: your hair/your head. If you would like to try coloring it, see an excellent colorist at a salon and ask for advice. Don't buy what you think matches in the drug store. We do not always see ourselves as others see us. The best advice I think I could give you is women like men with clean, shiny, well cut hair. If you love what your stylist does to cut your hair, fine. If you think it is ordinary or you'd like a new cut, watch for guys that you think have a really great haircut. If you can comfortably ask, ask them who cuts their hair. This would be a flattering question to a woman. Some men might think it a little strange, but then, ask anyway. Find a really good stylist - some have more vision than others and you would be amazed the difference a small change in the cut does for you. An attractive man is a guy with a smile, a good word for people and consideration for others. Believe me women worth talking to care about more important qualities. Nothing wrong with wanting to be attractive but I'll bet you have a sense of humor and intelligence that will attract women whether you are gray or not! Happy hunting!

cut all ur hair off oid man!!

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

I think gray can be hot, especially if the hair is on a guy who looks like he's in his early thirties. Yum. As long as you walk around with confidence the women will eat you up.

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

YOU CAN DO EITHER OF 2 THINGS. LET IT GO OR COLOR IT. THEY HAVE MEN'S PRODUCTS. JUST DON'T GO TOO DARK. TRY TO STAY WITH THE SHADE YOU HAVE. IF YOU DON'T LIKE, YOU CAN ALWAYS GO WHITE.

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

Don't dye it....gray looks nice and dignified on men.

My husband is only 37 (I'm 27) and he's got the salt and pepper look going on. He is dead sexy........and I bet you are too!

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

I've chosen to keep my gray hairs because I've earned every one of them, and each one is a testimony of what God has brought me through!

stay natural if it is only a few.....do yourself a favor. 34 here and i have a few grays that pop up along with my boyfriend. a few here and there just come with age and wisdom :)

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

Nooooo, don't color it!!! It looks really good, honest!!! Rather distinguished. My husband went gray in his mid-thirties and I loved it then and still do. Hair stylists are constantly telling him to color it but he says no, thank goodness.

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

it depends on your skin tone. but i married an older man so i kinda think it's hot. but if you are self conscience about it go get a "sink color" put on it. it's semi permanant and will blend the gray in. but for the most part (im 24) i think grays sexy.

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

You are young and you should look young. If you color your hair, you have to keep doing it every 4 or so weeks. You can also highlight your hair. Have a hairdresser do it for you for a really nice look. You do not have to just streak blonde, you can put in lighter browns.

I do have a suggestion for you. Try taking "Colliodal Minerals". Many times we go gray from not having enough minerals in our bodies. I have known men to take minerals and have their hair reverse color...at least most of the way. I took minerals for quite a while and my hair did get darker. I stopped and it is slowly graying again. This has reminded me to take them again.

You can get these liquid minerals (they are suspended in water in very small particles so you can easily absorb them) at a health food store or vitamin shop. You take 1-2 Tablespoons a day. They will enhance your whole body's health and if you have any low back pain, it will help that a lot.

Iam a 35 year old male. I have been going gray for a few years. More than likely from my kids!! lol The gray?

it depends on the gray and if it looks salt and pepper or if it doesn't look natural. also your skin tones play into it. My husband is 53 and we have been coloring his hair for 12 years. his is now white and he would look 80 if we didn't color it. we have to touch it up every 4 weeks. if you can do it your self its not as expensive as if you have it done in the salon. they do make hair color for men.(hair color for men) I use professional but i am a licensed cosmetologist.

P.s. he got it from or kids too!

Is there a possible disease or condition for hair discoloration at a young age?

I am wondering if it's possible for young children to grow with gray or white hair, instead of a natural color like blonde, red, brown, or black.

Is there a possible disease or condition for hair discoloration at a young age?

Albino children can grow white hair, and other children can grow with streaks of grey hair. i had streaks of grey hair when I was little and they eventually went away, and therse nothing wrong with your child if they do. However if they're albino they are more easily sunburned and go blind easier than other people.

you should go see a hair dresser.... color the hair is very tricky..

to find the right one, just ask around and see where others go...

Looking for the best perm for an african american woman with thick hair an a senstive scalp. help?

i'm a hairstylist- i'm puertorican and i relax my hair with cream of nature- use the herbal mix relaxer- it's the best and won't burn ur scalp. don't forget to leave ur scalp dirty enough when u are going to relax ur hair. as far as color for permed hair it is always best to use semi permanent tints, u can also add "gray magic" drops into the color mix to cover gray. it works wonderfully! good luck..

I dyed my hair so often the back is very dark brown and the top is blond. How can I get it light aga

I have a gray spot of hair in the front of my head, I kept dyeing it, like every 2 weeks. Now the back is very dark brown, almost black and the top is light. What can I do?

I dyed my hair so often the back is very dark brown and the top is blond. How can I get it light again?

Grey hair is much harder to dye than the rest of your hair. White hair has the larger pores, next comes grey, then blonde, then red, then brown, and lastly black. So the dye molecules slip out of the larger pores much faster than the smaller pores.

Since your greying sounds like it in only in one section, you should be spot colouring, instead of full hair colouring. The best way to do this is with an applicator brush, similar to a small paintbrush.

To remove the colour from the dark spots you have only a few options.

1 - go to the salon for a pricy treatment

2 - bleach your hair, then redye

3 - apply a colour lighting or a significantly lighter colour

4 - wait for it to grow out

Edit: the poster below me is correct, no pores in hair, my bad...but above still applies, just wrong choice of wording

I dyed my hair so often the back is very dark brown and the top is blond. How can I get it light again?

sounds like a mess go to the salon!

I dyed my hair so often the back is very dark brown and the top is blond. How can I get it light again?

dont dare do it yourself as it always goes wrong just book an appointment at the hairdressers and they will get it right.

I dyed my hair so often the back is very dark brown and the top is blond. How can I get it light again?

hi-light the bottom. Doing yourself will be hard if not next to impossible and if a friend does it that just ends up in disaster. Next you will be sitting in a professionals chair crying "Why did this happen to me?" Avoid the situation and go have it done professionally.

I dyed my hair so often the back is very dark brown and the top is blond. How can I get it light again?

I am going to guess that it's black because it is overly porous and has absorbed too much color. There is virtually NO cuticle left! The good news is that as much as it has a propensity to absorb the color and become too dark, it will fade just as quickly. The bad news is that it is destroyed!Leave it alone! DO NOT get it highlighted as it will melt off (Glad she's not doing my hair!), do not put more color over it. Go to a professional (Please find one who specializes in color correction) and have the roots touched up. The gray hair needs a professional color line to cover...it does not have a "larger pore" as someone else said. (Hair DOES NOT have pores!) It has a cuticle and gray hair has more cuticle layers that is why it is more coarse. Due to this expanded cuticle it also is more difficult for the color to penetrate into the cortex. If you would like the back to fade quicker, just shampoo it with your dish soap a time or two....NOT MORE! Then condition it well.

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

Hi, I really need some advice. I've never dyed my hair before. I'm really bored with my look right now. I have fair skin, light blue/gray eyes, and light blonde hair. Originally I wanted to dye my hair black, but I was advised not to do it by a lot of people because it would give me a washed out kind of look! Instead I was told to try a dark brown or even a red shade. What color would help bring out my eyes? More specifically, should I try a dark brown or something lighter? Thanks, I appreciate any advice. ( =

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

I think a chocolate brown looks really good.I know a lot of examples, but the only one I can think of is Mandy Moore looked really good when she did that.

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

NOT brown trust me been there done that! i would go with a red

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

if u dye ur hairs u look really stupid dont dye ur hairs

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

i think you should go with a shade just a little bit darker than chocolate colored. i have fair skin too, and i dyed my hair dark brown and it made me look washed out until it faded to a lighter color. brown would bring out your eyes, just dont go too dark!

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

well, blonde hair is bringing blue eyes out the most!

I have a friend hwo was brunette and with light blue eyes and she colored her hair to blond and eyes...Wow! It suits so well!

Don't color your hair! YOU ARE A NATURAL BLOND! some ladyes would give everything for it! Do you know that only 1,4 % of world population have natural blond hair!

You just want to change it because YOU are bored, but the stranger who walk on a street is actually admire you inside her mind! But do what you want. But perhaps color you hair with that kind of hair color what you can wash off.....just to try!

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

no u soud really hot!did u see what hapen to jessie macardney or how ever u spell his name

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

you really might not want it permanent cuase i remeber wantign to change my hair color but then i got bored again lol. try using a semi-permanent dye and if you really like it then do it permanently =)

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

When you say light skin are you very fair with pink or yellow undertones? If pink and you go brown you should go a golden brown,if yellow tones you should go medium brown. With your eyes being blue it will po put even more.I think people should go darker in the winter and light in the summer.Red may wash you out unless your skin is porcelin like marcia clark on desperate housewives that plays Brie.

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

i would say to go with a light auburn look or try a light brown golden look or a light reddish brown it would look great with ur complexion.

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

I looked pretty much the same as you....but my hair is getting darker and I don't like it! Try some light brown low lights and a dramatically new haircut if you are bored....such as bangs or layers.

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

no darker than a chocolate. Maybe try a temporary color, and put some chocolate brown streaks or chunks in it. If you like it, next time use the same color in a permanent color!!

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

Don't dye you hair.

I know a guy with pale skin, blue eyes, and dark brown hair who is very handsome, but I'm generally against people dying their hair.

I have light skin, dark/blue eyes, and light blond hair, should I dye my hair dark brown?

Try a medium reddish brown or even a light reddish brown. Use a demy or semi permanent color, they deposit color only. You don't need to use a regular permanent color because it will lighten and deposit at the same time. Hope you understand what I'm talking about. You could even try a light nuetral brown. Good luck

I want to dye mt hair black?

I have blond hair but i want to dye it black im afraid the black will fade and leave my hair gray. will that happen or will my hair stay black?

I want to dye mt hair black?

i have seen people who dyed their hair black.. you get your original hair color as black fades.. i am sure it wont change it to grey atleast... but not eveyrone looks good in black hair... so try to consult a hair dresser and try in adobe and check if you will look good in black hair before trying on..

hope this helps you

gud luck :)

I want to dye mt hair black?

please don't dye your hair black, I've known many blonde people dying their hair black and it always turn out to be a huge turn off.

I want to dye mt hair black?

gentlemen prefer blondes.

I want to dye mt hair black?

To make such a drastic change I suggest you go to your hairdresser!

I want to dye mt hair black?

it will stay black gray would be cool too.

I want to dye mt hair black?

You will probably make your face look ghostly white don't do it. Or you'll look like El Vira

I want to dye mt hair black?

Never seen anyone who had their black hair dye turn out to make their hair gray. I guarantee that you will be alright. I have seen one guy who thought he had black hair dye, but it turned out to be blue.

I want to dye mt hair black?

When my black dye started to fade it didn't go grey, it just started to show my natural color a little bit.

I want to dye mt hair black?

black dye does not just fade away. you have to get it professionally stripped. stripping black dye from blonde hair is one of the most painstaking processes; it will turn your hair into goo. at least that's what happened to a couple of my blonde friends.

I want to dye mt hair black?

You will ruin your beautiful hair if you use permanent dye (no. 3 or no. 2). Also, in a few weeks after dying it, your blond hair will grow at the roots and you'll look like an old lady with white roots. Not a good idea to make such a dramatic change. You can go 1 to 2 shades darker so you can see how you like it and gradually, every 6 weeks you can continue going darker. This way you won't make an irreversible mistake. Good luck! I like blond hair though!!!

I want to dye mt hair black?

black will make you look pail and it is very very hard to chance it back i would suggest a temporary colour that only lasts a few weeks or try and get hold of a black hair wig that way if you don't like it it wont matter

I want to dye mt hair black?

well it wont turn out black it will probably turn out blue because one of my friends well old friends hade really thin hair that was

blonde and she died it black and it turned out blue and it look horrid everyone hartes her now eww

I want to dye mt hair black?

I know someone who dyed their hair black.bad choice..

I want to dye mt hair black?

id dyed my hair blackish but it sort of washed off tho it was meant to b permanent, but dont worry, it wont turn to a differnet colour, it will just make ur hair darker, rather than ur natural colour turning grey, you'll c black with blonde coming back into it.

u can always get cover-ups , which cover the roots of ur hair but i didnt bother, this time ill try for a new 1.

mayb if ur not sure, you can get them wash out ones, that way you can test to c what looks good and what doesnt.

I want to dye mt hair black?

just make sure to leave it about 5-10 minutes longer for the dye can grab the color and use about two bottles of hair dye. I did it and when i tried one and left it for a while it did not grab the color much and it was a light black dark brown but then i tried two and it looked good after a few washes that day. it looks fake at first but after washing it for a few times that day it looked realllyyyy good. a good product you can use which gives you wonderful results is Clairol perfect 10 its a little bit expensive but worth it or you can try l'oreal natural match hair color. best of luck

I want to dye mt hair black?

Your hair will most likely stay black, but if not it will just go back to Blonde.

I want to dye mt hair black?

If you dye your hair black...it will eventually fade to a brown. It will not fade to gray or back to blonde. I color all kinds of people's hair..so I know what will happen. Good luck though!

I want to dye mt hair black?

your hair wont be gray BUT please dont do it.ive seen alot of people doing that(including me) and it was a big mistake.trust me,stick to the blond.

I want to dye mt hair black?

For some comments above, if you die your hair black YES IT will after a while turn grayish, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT , you maintain the color like everything else.

Just make sure you are 100% pos you want to do this, cause when its done and if you dont like it , it will take you a very very long time to go back to blonde and it will damage your hair.

First try a black wig on.

Now if your sure this is what you want to do. (Id recomend going to a hairdresser but here it is anyway) Buy a red dye and a black die (if your hair is long than get 2 black dyes, its better to have extra than to be patchy) firstly colour your hair red, this will give the black colour something to hold on to, so it doesnt turn gray after couple of washes, than the next day colour your hair black. DONE NOT a big deal!!!

To maintain when your regrowth grows out, do your regrowth with permenant black colour, but the rest of the hair use semi permenant.

And no colouring your hair black will not damage your hair to much, black hair actually will look heaps healthier cause its so shiny.

I want to dye mt hair black?

are u sure it will suit u, it's a drastic change......

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

I'm going as a Mad Scientist and am planing to get my hair up and crazy, a la Einstein. How do I do this if I have naturally straight hair with no body?

Should I consider using gray or white spray-on hair color?

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

ultra tease and spray. if u don't know how to go to youtube.com and type in how to tease your hair.

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

you should put a LOT ov mouse in your hair n scrunch it up so it looks a bit tatty n curly then add sum hairspray to make it last

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

Get some serious hairspray and mousse. Blow dry your hair about half way, apply some mousse through your hair, and at the roots (not too much to where it looks gross). Finish blow drying- flip you head over and hold the hair out at your roots, aiming the hot air directly at it, then flip your head back up and do the same thing, pulling your roots up with your fingers.

Tease a whole bunch around the top of your head, then all the way through.

Also, to create a cuter affect, straighten your hair in parts, then crimp it in parts to create dimension.

I think that would look awesome (=

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

This may sound really stupid but for 80's day at my school my friend used Elmer's glue to put it in a Mohawk....... then when the day was done and the glue was dry we brushed it and it got all crazy like a mad scientist then she took a shower and it was back to normal . I would only use my suggestion as a last resort . other wise try something else

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

Back comb your hair!

This is quite hard to get out but it does work!

It will look good if your a mad scientist

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

Both are great but white spray-on hair color is better with your costume!

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

Take the end a strand of hair with one hand and then pinch it just above with the other, then just slide the hand that is pinching up to the root of your hair and you get a frizz. But if you are REALLY in love with your hair then don't do this, cuz it takes some time to get out, and it isn't very good for your hair to have to many knot kind of things in it, but it DOES work, do it all around your head in little strands and there you have it. It's actually kinda fun, lol. And it looks cool too.

How do I do my hair for Halloween?

gray w/ a white/gray/balck outfit

or

white w/ a colorful outfit (red/blue/green/etc.)

Why do my gray hairs itch until I pluck them or dye them (every week)?

I think you can't stand to look at your gray hair. So, your making yourself go crazy to the point that you think they itch. I know gray hair is not the greatest. I have had Grey hair since I was 13 years old. It will be OK, just dye it. don't keep plucking out you hair you are going to give yourself a bald spot. and try to calm down you should not dye your hair every week because it will damage it and then not only will you have Grey hair, but also dry and brittle hair that will look like hay.

Why do my gray hairs itch until I pluck them or dye them (every week)?

You're not crazy. I know women to include myself that say the same thing. I think I've come to the conclusion that we have sensitive scalps, my gray hair is thicker than my natural hair. Unlike you though, dying it doesn't make it stop itching. But they dyes make me break out in a rash too. Report It

Why do my gray hairs itch until I pluck them or dye them (every week)?

they do not really itch, it is all psychological. because you know they are there you want rid of them so bad and it preys on your mind so much your subconcious takes over and keeps nagging you to get rid of them.

A question for the men.?

Just for fun, I would like to take a poll here. Just a simple yes or no, Christian or atheist will do. No essays, please, as I am too tired today to read them.

I am overweight, have uneven skin tone, am missing a bottom tooth, and have graying hair. My eyes are brown and my hair is styled like my avatar. Who would ask me out?

A question for the men.?

If I got to know you better, I might. What's on the inside counts more than the outside--I've seen a lot of "beautiful" girls who contain only evil in their hearts.

A question for the men.?

why are you posting this here?

A question for the men.?

I'm only a teenager.

A question for the men.?

you sound a lot like my wife, but if I was to ask you out, MY WIFE WOULD KILL ME!!1

A question for the men.?

Nice hair, but I'm not a fan of overweight people. So no.

A question for the men.?

im married.

A question for the men.?

I don't know. How tall are you?

(Ideal woman: 3-feet tall, no teeth, and a flat head... so you have a place to set your drink.)

A question for the men.?

Interesting poll, but sorry, no.

I'm neither Christian, nor atheist, which must by definition make me some sort of sub-human oddity. (Only kidding).

Cute avatar, though. I hope you meet someone nice.

:)

A question for the men.?

If you were kind and I was not married you sound just perfect.

Love and blessings Don

A question for the men.?

I am gay

A question for the men.?

I wouldn't, but mainly because I'm quite certain that my wife would object.

But I've asked women (not girls) out before who others might not find attractive.

A question for the men.?

You forgot one category Married!! Jim

A question for the men.?

I'm not a guy, but want to share something with you. I met my husband on line. We are both Christians. I never asked him how much money he made, nor did he ask me what I looked like. The moral of this is we were ot looking at the others heart (values) and not at the physical. It was at some later point we shared this info...but only after the relationship had moved into a more serious realm.

Just wanted to share.

A question for the men.?

No thanks....I'm already have a girlfriend...

A question for the men.?

No, who would?

I don't even know who you are...

I would if i know what you are like deep inside

A question for the men.?

I'd go with Belize if I were you.

I am overweight, I talk to much, have yellowy teeth, am a bit lazy, and many other bad things....can we date? LOL

Bleached hair help!?

Yesterday i went to a salon and dyed my naturally auburn hair a strawberry blonde color. Before yesterday i had not dyed my hair in about 6 months. The hairdresses bleached my hair using a 40 vol bleach and then dyed over the bleach with the strawberry blonde color. I hate it!! its way too light for my complexion. I bought a semi permament red brown color and im planning on dying it again tonight. Im wondering if this is going to turn my hair gray OR if iits going to take at all. If i go over the blonde color with the red brown color do you think its going to take?

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

I'm a 42 year old physician (surgeon) and I have really wanted to add bold blonde highlights/frost my medium brown hair for about 25 years now. I figure since I STILL HAVE my hair (with very little gray), contemplating this topic in another 10 years may not be an option. The question I have is whether it would be considered unprofessional (as a licensed, practicing physician) if I were to proceed with this? In other words, if you were a patient and you noticed your doctor added blonde highlights to his hair, would this affect your opinion of him?

I don't know whether this info is useful or not, but I have a medium white complexion (and tan pretty regularly), green/hazel eyes, dark brown/black eyebrows and an muscular build... Not really sure whether this is the right forum to post this question, but any replies would be very much appreciated.

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

I don 't see why it would hurt.

I would stay way from the pinks and purples thought.

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

Does mutton dressed as lamb mean any thing !

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

I say go for it.

You only live once and I think most people are savvy enough to realise that dying your hair does not diminish your professional capability.

Have fun dude!

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

I'd say if you consult with and use a skilled stylist (and communicate to them very clearly what you want) you should be able to get highlights subtle enough to still be professional but also ones that would give you the look you're going for. Subtlety is the key!!

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

to be professional, i would stick with 1 solid natural color. maybe on vacation you can you can change your appearance.

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

When you were 17..not a bad idea

When you were 30 ..a little strange, but still ok

When you became a physician ,and now at the age of 42..absolutely not

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

If it's well done I see no reason why not (apart from the fact that colour treatments aren't great for your hair). If it's badly done it could be very bad news: think about how you judge guys you see who have bad hair colour treatments (and be honest with yourself). In your role you need to be credible when you talk to patients and anything which makes them feel less confident about dealing with you could have knock on consequences you might rather avoid. I guess the trick is to find a decent stylist who you trust and maybe to start gently at first.

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

Be honest with yourself about your professional demeanor and patient base....

Are you quiet, reserved, ultra-professional or a bit more laid back and "hip"?

Are you patients a mix of folks, or do you primarily see elderly folks throughout the day?

I wouldn't mind blonde highlights on my doctor, but I'm 36 and I work as a makeup artist for a very funky company. My mother might raise an eyebrow. My grandmother would assume you were gay. ;)

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

Depends If your Hot or not.

I dont Mean to sound shallow.

But thats just whether It'll suit you or not,

Blonde highlights wouldnt knock me at all.

Its not like,

OMG MY SURGEON HAS BLOND HIGHLIGHTS HES SO UNPROFFESIONAL HES GONNA RIP OUT MY SPLEEN.

Yeh.

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

I'd say get it done you might look more human with a little style instead of looking so serious

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

I personally wouldnt have a problem with it - i mean, as a physician you must see people with all types of hair styles, and many of them may be in highly professional jobs - I say you should go for it!

It's not as if it wont grow out anyway, if anyone has a problem with it....

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

Go for it doc! Patients want to see their doctors polished, trendy and well-groomed. Goodluck! You're still young, so yes, go for it now.

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

no man.. its digusting. especially if youre a doctor.

Opinion on whether it is OK for a male professional to add blonde highlights/frost his hair?

No ur a bit to old for that

Who looks good in gray clothing?

i love wearing gray but my mom said it "wasn't my color". i have golden brown hair, gray/blue eyes and fair skin and i thought it looked good on me....whom exactly does it look good on?????

Who looks good in gray clothing?

Well I have dk brown hair hazel eyes and fair skin.

I bought this beautiful gray suit that I thought would look great on me until I saw a pic of me in it .

It washed my fair skin out and made me look really pale.

Not at all flattering for fair skin no matter what the color of your hair and eyes. Better on olive, med and dark skin tones.

Who looks good in gray clothing?

i wear gray a lot. i have dark/olive-ish skin

Who looks good in gray clothing?

it looks good on me :D

Who looks good in gray clothing?

You look good in the colors that make you happy.

I would stay away from the really pale grays. Wear the medium to darker grays or gray with clolorful patterns.Use accessories to bring out your hair, eye, and skin color.

Wear shirts, printed tops, scarves, and jewelry in colors that accent you and the grey. Adjust your lip stick to pretty glossy deep pinks and mauves

Check out this site on how to wear gray!

http://gracemagazine.wordpress.com/2007/...

Who looks good in gray clothing?

I wear grey a lot, I think it looks okay on me..

Who looks good in gray clothing?

I think it looks great on you...If you think it's all good, and you feel comfortable wearing grey, then tell your mom. There's no way she's gonna stop you from wearing a certain color.

Why did my highlights turn green and blue/gray?

i just got my hair done and it was a disaster for the past 6yrs i had gone pretty light. this time i wanted a darker color while still having a few blond highlights by my face so thats what my hair dresser was doing and once we saw the results i was shoked the highlights were blonde/green/gray/and blue and my hair turned black i dont mind the black so much but the technicolor highlights are bringing me down. the hairdresser said he couldnt do anything at the momment w/o damaging my hair so now im thinking of what i can do?

Why did my highlights turn green and blue/gray?

Your hair may have to grow out some before it's strong enough for more permanent coloring. But in the meantime, there are plenty of color rinses that aren't permanent and that will cover the colors until they fade. Back in the '70s, I had my hair frosted and then when I got tired of it made the mistake of dying my hair dark brown, and all the frosted areas came out green. I covered it up with "Loving Care" a hair rinse that's made to color grey in your hair. Good luck. But, take some pictures first. You'll have a good laugh with them in a few years.

Why did my highlights turn green and blue/gray?

im not rally sure what you can do but that really sux. Did the hair dresser really say that he couldnt do anythng. like can you not get like dark highlights over it? well anyway goodluck i hope ur hair gets fixed even though i bet it dosent even look that bad.:D

Gray eyes?!?

I have light gray eyes and dark brown hair. Does this sound pretty to you?And what make-up would go good with my eyes?

Gray eyes?!?

Gray eyes, dark brown hair = RARE.

Appreciate that, that's very pretty.

I think you should go to Sephora, or Macy*s, makeup department stores to know what best suits you.

- mmmfilipino

Gray eyes?!?

i think like a purple or blue eye shadow or a brown

Gray eyes?!?

the good thing about gray eyes is that they look diffrent colors depending on wat u wer

Gray eyes?!?

yes, try the Bare Escentuals line of eye shadows at Sephora. they have a kit called meet the stones that would look awesome with your gray eyes, just glam it up with lots of black liner-hot.

Gray eyes?!?

hi my eyes are brown not really light brown and not dark ath between this i like them

Gray eyes?!?

My nephew was born with dark hair and grey eyes. He was the beautifulest thing I'd seen, his eyes turned when he neared one year old. Grey eyes are beautiful and you don't seen them often. I'd skip any kind of eye make up, it'd take away from the beauty of the color.

Gray eyes?!?

I went to high school with a girl who had grey eyes, and she looked beautiful, she was also a brunette.

Gray eyes?!?

Well girl i luv your eyes haha lol

Anyways well it depends on your

color skin too... I mean if u got light

skin than make up u would used is baish

something like that and about the eyes color

just make it go with the color you have on in

yuor clothes okay girl good luck take care

hope it works and you like it

Gray eyes?!?

the gray eyes with brown hair sounds beautiful. I think any soft color will accent well with your eyes. Since I'm a cosmetic councelor, I would not go too dark, or it will take the natural softness out of your gray eyes. Hope I helped!

Gray eyes?!?

interesting combo... try gold or light pink. AVOID SPARKLY OR SHIMMERY ITEMS. Always wear eye-liner it looks good with everything, don't put eye liner or eye lids only the bottom. Gold, solid gold is good, Covergirl and Revlon have lots of gold make-up. They're really cheap and they work well. Light pink you can find anywhere. Wear clear pink gloss, not too glossy, or it'll look like you're trying too hard. Wear subtle eyeshadow and blush. You can go peach on cheeks, just a tad more blush then you're supposed. You have to do that if you really want peach to work.

Gray eyes?!?

Sounds gorgeous and one of a kind.

Try a medium pink/magenta on the eye lid and a paler/ligther pink above. Or even a darker, but natural shade of gray would look good.

Gray eyes?!?

That is a beautiful combo. You are blessed with light eyes and dark hair! Try using a little bit darker liner but not so dark it's black. Like a dark blue and softer eyeshadow. Maybe a lavender to bring out your eyes. But keep it simple, you don't want to end up looking like BOZO the clown.

How to get people to stop making comments to you?! How rude!! I hate to tell you but it probably won't stop until your older. I hope they are making positive comments about you such as "look how pretty you are" but if not I hope you do not call these people your friends. Find people that appreciate you for your self, beautiful or not.

Gray eyes?!?

Yuo are lucky to have gray eyes mine are brown but i think purple light purple would look georgous=)

Gray eyes?!?

Hi! Yes, this combination is lovely. I have brown eyes and dark brown hair. However, I wear gray contact lenses! I tried other colors of contact lenses but I prefered gray because they are a soft, subtle color and do not look fake. Now, here's what you do. Please, do not overdo any makeup. One coat of black or brown mascara, soft natural foundation, etc. Everything should be soft. You do not need eye shadow, liner, etc. If you wear these, apply it softly. Your skin and the natural beauty of your eyes should come out. Less is more for you! Very best of luck and Happy New Year!

Gray eyes?!?

Gray eyes look nice on anybody. You could try putting just a touch of silver eye shadow, I think it would bring out the color of your eyes more

Gray eyes?!?

yah tht sounds pretty! try light colors.

Need advice about dying my hair?

I've been blonde my whole life, and I really want to go darker (brownish). I tried it once a few years ago, but apparently the ash base in the color made my hair an awful greenish/gray color...and true to form I spent a fortune at the salon having it corrected.

Any advice (other than to have it professionally done)? How do I look at the labels and know what has an ash base?

Need advice about dying my hair?

You need to have your hair shade matched on a natural level 1-10. (1 being the darkest-10 being the lightest) And then you check it see if it has warm undertones or cool undertones. Then you should decide how many levels you want to go down to make it darker.

But from what you said, I would expect that as a blonde you have a cool undertone since your hair turned an ash green. If you use an ash on a cool tone it will bring out the cool colors in the hair such as blue %26amp; green. If you use a warm toned color it will make it appear more gold or even red. If you're wanting a good rich, chocolate like brown- use something with a gold undertone that has some flavor to it. Or just use a natural level brown. There's so many different options. But stay away from anything that has ASH in it, b/c you will have the same problem as before.

But my best advice is going to be to talk to a professional. If you want it to be that perfect color, they can help you define exactly what it is that you want. They always know what's best!

Need advice about dying my hair?

To experiment, try a semi-permanent color or a color that will wash out after 2-3 shampoos. Then, once you find the right one, stick with it.

You can try an all over color. I recommend Clairol Nice %26amp; Easy.

Or you can try adding low lights (darker high lights). For that, I recommend a hairdresser!

Need advice about dying my hair?

You wont find much advice on the bottles/boxes of color. Go for a brown that has red hues. There are two bases for hair color red/green-you want red in order to avoid a green hue color. So you will have an alburn look, but that beats green!

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

I've been wondering, if you are really stressed out, can your hair turn white, not gray, white?

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

Yes -- I have too much knowledge of this topic. Extreme stress can cause it. So can heredity (premature grey in family). So too can hyperthyroidism. You have a nice selection of possibilities here --

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

No, genetics is what turns your hair white.

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

gray, but not snow white

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

yes, of course. Ex: mine. This is scientifically explained also. You can believe this.

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

Stress will cause white hair to. If you don'r like it, go to ur hairdresser and she will color it for you.

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

I thought that was from being scared terribly

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

No. Stress doesn't turn your hair white. Yet, stress can make your hair fall out.

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

no,if your really stress your hair fall out.its probably genetics

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

i wouldnt think it would

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

i'm not sure if it was stress, but my old maths teacher (he was actually pretty young), well his hair turned grey over night, but that was more the resultof a trauma because his brither and father were both killed by lightning while they were out in the fields! It was really awful! But that was trauma-related, haven't heard of it stress-related.. maybe though.. but it IS possible for hair to turn white over night!

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

http://www.healthboards.com/boards/archi...

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

Yes, i think stress can do that. I have alot of grey hair and i am a very stressful person.

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

Some people have hair so pale that it wouldn't turn grey even from aging, it would just go directly to white, so I assume that these people could also have their hair turn white from stress/trauma. (I can understand how stress could cause new hair to grow out grey or whhite, but how does it cause hair that has already formed -- the stuff at the ends of a 8-inch strand, for example -- to change too? Hair is DEAD, and stress shouldn't be able to affect it once it is formed. Can anyone explain that one?)

Can stress turn your hair snow white?

Yes I've know a couple people that it has happened to in streaks or sections not their whole head though

Why do young (12-25 year old's people grow gray hairs?

Along with it being passed on as genetic trait that can be seen early in adulthood, gray hair can also come from high amounts of stress.

Why do young (12-25 year old's people grow gray hairs?

High stress - two words, High school. Report It

Why do young (12-25 year old's people grow gray hairs?

becaus they have a graet amount of stress or it's inheiritance

Why do young (12-25 year old's people grow gray hairs?

I think it has more to do with genetics than anything. My father went salt-and-pepper at 15. I grew a bit of gray as a teenger, but it's not noticeable to most people.

NEED HENNA INSTRUCTIONS pLEASE---what can i do to dye my hair black with henna >???

My mom has black hair wiht couple grays and wants to dye her hair with henna,

but doesent want that bright red crazy hena color,

I BOUGHT SOME HENA BUT I WANT TO MAKE HER HAIR BLACK ONLY

WORSE POSSIBLE CASE SCENARIO DARK BROWN?

WHAT CAN I DO TO MIX THE HENNA TO GET HER HAIR BLACK??????

help I NEVER USED HENNA BEFORE.

AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN ARABIC???

NEED HENNA INSTRUCTIONS pLEASE---what can i do to dye my hair black with henna %26gt;???

Very easy, but don't put on your skin or you will have 2 weeks tatoo

NEED HENNA INSTRUCTIONS pLEASE---what can i do to dye my hair black with henna %26gt;???

Hennas are available in different colours. Does it say Black on the box?

Go back to the store and purchase Black Henna - make sure you get the stuff for the hair, not the skin (mende tattoos)

Mix the henna in a glass bowl with warm/hot water. Mix until consistency of thick soup. Wear latex gloves . Use a hairdressers dye brush to apply (like the one pictured here) http://www.bewild.com/hairdyetinbr.html

Brush henna on hair, beginning at front top, and work your way back through the whole head. Cover head with plastic bag (can be loose, just to keep from dripping on clothes and floor) and let sit about 20 - 45 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. The henna may stain pillows and clothes for a few days if not rinsed really, really well. But after a couple of shampoos, she'll be good to go.

Good luck!

NEED HENNA INSTRUCTIONS pLEASE---what can i do to dye my hair black with henna %26gt;???

I don't know how to use the henna but it is a very reddish color. I don't know if you can get it to black. If you do use it and it does not turn out the color you want be very careful with what you choose to use over it. A lot of hair colors do not react well with henna. It can be very damaging to the hair.

NEED HENNA INSTRUCTIONS pLEASE---what can i do to dye my hair black with henna %26gt;???

Well, because your mom has black hair, using red henna won't make it red, the worst thing it'll do is give it maybe a red/brown tint or even highlights, especially where the grays are. If she has black hair and you're using black henna, nothing bad should happen, however, this is VERY important, if she has done anything chemical to her hair, test the henna first, because unless you have body art henna (the kind that won't ruin your hair), then it might turn an icky green color, so make sure you have body art henna and not compound henna (the bad kind). and here's how you use it:

First off, get a plastic container, such as a ziploc box, then, put the henna in it, you're gonna need about 200gms of it for every foot of hair.

Next, mix half lemon juice and half water into the henna until it become the consistency of mashed potatoes or yogurt.

Once this is done, cover the container and put it somewhere warm, (for ex: on top of a cable box or the fridge or even the garage) Leave it there overnight and in the morning there should be a top layer of color, that's the dye thats needed for your hair.

Go get your bathroom ready, and let me tell you, henna is MESSY!!! so wear clothes you don't mind staining and put newspaper everywhere, the shower is usually good cause it washes right off of the tile.

Leave the henna in your hair for at least 3ish hours, the longer its on, the more prominent the color and the better it should turn out.

Then, wash it off normally, now, this may be hard to do and may take awhile, you'll also have a hay smell in your hair for a bit, but the conditioning affects and color are worth it. Then your done!

PS: here's a site i sometimes use when i wanna try something new w/the henna, hope it helps and good luck!

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

I haven't seen pictures of Jimmy Page in a while..when I saw pictures of the reunion tour this week I was stopped cold by the image of Jimmy page with white/gray hair. As I worked through it I felt saddened while at the same time made very aware of the fact that time marches on.

What say you? Maybe to other people it was nothing. I tend to be melodramatic.

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

I think it suits the guy fine. Makes him look even more like a "rock elder statesman". Like "OK, move aside all the mcrs, fobs %26amp; red jumpsuits....Here's how Rock is DONE"

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

Yeah that was a trip. Robert Plant doesn't look too different but I didn't recognize Jimmy. Gettin old sux.

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

i think it adds to his look cause now it looks like he is older so he looks more expierienced. I think its a good thing.

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

They all looked better than my man Keith Richards! Now thats the walking dead for sure. LOL

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

At least he's not afraid to hide the natural colour of his hair...unlike a lot of other classic rockers (McCartney, Jagger and Richards immediately come to mind...)

Who cares what colour Jimmy's hair is though? I wasn't at the show, but from what I've heard and seen of it he hasn't played this well since at least 1973.

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

That happens when we get older.

He still plays a mean guitar.

Jimmy Page with white hair....?

I think he looks really old and wasted.

Mick Jagger and The Stones have much more elan and energy, I guess the fact they never stopped touring and performing keeps them fit.

Page needs a face lift and to loose that brittle hair for a a la brush look that would suit him better.

Is there a good way to get rid of gray hairs? Instead of buying all types of crazy stuff at the stor

i pull them out

Is there a good way to get rid of gray hairs? Instead of buying all types of crazy stuff at the store. thx?

Pluck

Is there a good way to get rid of gray hairs? Instead of buying all types of crazy stuff at the store. thx?

Don't pluck them because when they come back in they will just stick up.There is no way to get rid of gray but to color them.Try a temporary color just to blend them in with your natural color,It wont completely cover them but blend them some.If you want them to be completely gone you have to use a permanent dye.The only thing with that type of color is you will get roots within 4 weeks and the gray will come back.

Is there a good way to get rid of gray hairs? Instead of buying all types of crazy stuff at the store. thx?

buy a semi permanent color pr demi it washes out gradually, and it works great, It's not crazy, thats what i use on the men that i have grey hair

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tw

My Fiance uses hair for men for mustache and side burns... there are special small applicators you can use to do the hairs and since eyebrows don't grow fast you will only need to tweeze once in awhile and do a touch up once a month

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

color them. go to a salon to do it because you could burn yourself doing it at home.

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

Tweezing only makes more of them come back.

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

You can dye it, but although that is the longest lasting solutioon, that can also be tricky. The easiest solution would be to use an eyebrow pencil or brow powder. Not only will it mostly cover the gray, but it will also make them look neater.

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

color them with a eyebrow pencil, or go to a salon and have them professionaly colored to match ur hair

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

They make all kinds of hair coloring for men that will fix this for ya. I just trim them off and forget about it. It is part of getting older and usually stress.

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

dye your brows. It works really well and you can have matching eyebrows to what ever color your hair is. :)

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

I don't know if it is dangerous or not, but once at a salon I was bleaching my hair. My stylist then proceeded to bleach my eyebrows the same color.

Nothing happened to me, I'm fine! :]

I think you could dye your eyebrows. And if buying a box of dye sounds ridiculous you can always go to a beauty store and get a Root Cover Up Stick. They make something mascara like to cover up grays in your hair. It's a small little tube with a stick in it. I'm sure it works on eyebrows too.

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

my grandma and grandpa die there hair! it makes them look younger to! people might think its dangerous but its not! there are different products that are meant for this!

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

Aww. Don't worry about it. Nobody probably notices it anyways. But if it really does bother you then don't fret, all you have to do is go to a professional or do it yourself and dye them..it reallly isn't that hard. Or you could get a nice eyebrow pencil and pencil in over the gray spots.

Goodluck!

:-)

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

Do not tweeze the gray ones! As we get older all hair thins a bit and sometimes when we tweeze they don't grow back. You can buy a gel to color them to blend in. I am assuming you are a woman, and want to keep your eyebrows!

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

color them, or you could shave them and use a pencil, but i wouldnt try that

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

Tweezing them only makes them grow back and maybeeven grayer. I suggest you go to the drugstore (somewhere like Kroger or CVS) and get special hair coloring for places like your eyebrows, etc. It really works. Some people use if for any hair in places except their realy hair on top of their head.

As I'm getting older, I am getting stray gray hairs in my dark eyebrows. What to do, besides tweezing?

go to a salon and get a brow tint

What is the best hair coloring brand?

I have VERY dark brown hair. It is getting gray and I color it. However, the color doesn't last long and is usually too dark. What hair color do you think is best for lasting color and one that won't make me look like a witch?

What is the best hair coloring brand?

I use Revlon but i have hear that loreal is a really great brand to, they do not turn your hair orange and they are great. you should get your hair cut after dying it to get all of the dry end cut off to keep your hair beautiful!

I Really hope I help!!=)

What is the best hair coloring brand?

have you considered just rinses rather than all over color ? less chemicals on your hair and they should be able to cover the gray / give you a nice color.

What is the best hair coloring brand?

Redken ColorGels

What is the best hair coloring brand?

there are usually special kinds of dye just for grays. in fact, most store brand dyes say on the box "not for gray hair".

my advice to you is to go to a korean hair salon. they have something called a coating treatment. it's a color treatment that actually enriches your hair, so instead of stripping it of it's natural vibrance, it enhances it. your hair will feel silky and smooth. and if you take good care of your hair afterwards, the color should stay strong at least a couple of months. i recommend it to anyone who has damaged, grayed, or lifeless hair.

there's a catch: it's pretty expensive. $100-$200. but it's color AND treatment. you get what you pay for.

HOw abt Miscellaneous Hair Colour

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

I had really light blonde hair and I was sick of the upkeep so i tried to dye it a darker blonde(champaign). It turned my hair gray! So then i tried to dye it again a medium blonde, it just turned it grayer. So then i tried again with another blonde and it looks better, but still not good. So now I don't know what to do. I hate my hair and i can't afford to go to a salon.

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

omg stop dying it now, its going to ruin your hair, see someone who knows about hair right away, you may have to keep it very short until all that grows off

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

go to a salon and get it stripped, then dye it another color.

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

omfg! tht sux! umm the best advice i can give u is get sum hair dye removal stuff and if tht dont work, get like a lite to medium brown hair dye and dye it tht color and if THAT dont work just start washing ur hair with dishsoap and hopefully tht shld get the dye out soon enuff, not as fast bt it shld work...good luck!

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

ooo! that sucks. 3 times a week? ! wow now leave it 4 a month and do it again

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

idk but your gonna go bald if you keep dying your hair lol.

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

if you dye it again it will probably fall out.

but then you wouldn't have to worry about the color...

if you can't go to a salon, try calling the help line on the back of one of the boxes, they can probably tell you the best color to try and fix it. but you probably should wait at least two weeks.

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

i know that you don't like how it is right now, but you really damage your hair each time you dye it, so i would suggest leaving it the way it is for about a week. After that I would try using a bleaching cream, and then dying it the darker blonde and it should turn out to be like a medium-dark blonde. hope this helps!

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

go to sally beauty supply and buy conditioning packets!! Use a pack a day for 2 weeks..........keep it on your hair for atleast an hour!

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

use 100% olive oil to strip off the hair dye. It may take 2-3 treatments before you can re-dye your hair.

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

I can't believe some of these answers you are getting. Look, go to Sally Beauty and pick up a box of ColorFix. Use it exactly as it says on the box, it will loosen the color and it will wash out. Do NOT color your hair again for a few months after you do this. This should bring you back to the original light blonde color. If you want it a little darker, you can use a deposit only (like colorgloss) and add a little color back in. Your hair looks gray because the color you used had an ash base. You need something with a gold or neutral base.

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

The one mistake you've made was coloring your hair the darker blonde in the beginning. Because naturally the haircolor should only be lighten, or darken 1-2 shades at home. Now having really light blonde hair, in the beginning you should have went light/medium ash blonde. Considering you most likely have a cool skintone. But if you have a warmer skin tone you should have went light golden blonde. For warmer results. You tried to color your hair dark champaign blonde. That made your hair gray because you tried to color your hair 4-6 shades darker. Remember coloring your hair at home is always darker than what appeared on the box. Dying your hair medium blonde; of course its going to turn out grayer because you're hair is over-processed. What was the new haircolor you recently colored. You probably attempted to go lighter. You mentioned something you about cannot afford to go to a salon. I recommend going to a salon. It cost around $60-80 or more judging by the location of the salon. Mastercuts in the mall is about the cheapest place I know. To get your haircolor corrected. If I was you I would attempt going to a salon because your hair is greatly damaged you would only suffer more if you color again at home. You most likely spend the amount of money at home to correct your hair. When you could have used it to correct your hair professionally. I wish the best of luck to you. Have a great day.

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

wtf are u dying ur hair for three times a week. well i would just use more of the hair dye that worked

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

THis is tough, i did this before and now its why i have a hair stylist i go to and LOVE. I had a bad experience with the color removal stuff, it stripped my color out of my hair (dark plumb, dont ask why) but it didnt go back to the normal blond color, it made it a nasty orange with weird streaks in it. This is what i bought from a Sally Beauty Supply, and followed the directions on the box. I think that is different stuff the reply before me mentioned, so you might want to give her suggestion a try. GOOD LUCK! or contact a local hair salon for advice. (if all else fails remember it will always grow back)

I dyed my hair three times this week and it is awful. How can I fix it?

I go to Beauty school, I am about to graduate so I might be able to help you.....first of all, you should never color your hair three times in a week, your dealing with chemicals that literally eat your hair. You need a really deep conditioning treatment, preferrably a heated one. I would not put any more color on your hair for awhile until your hair gets back to it's original state. I know you said that you cannot afford to go to a salon, but I would highly suggest going to a professional and letting them see what they could do.

Hair help Please?

I want to dye my hair but have it look natural. I have dark blue- gray blue eyes. and fair skin. I also have light strawberry blond hair and I think it would be fun to get a new style for school next year. what colors do you suggest I could go either lighter or darker. Also what brands do you suggest. and how could I take care of the colored hair so that it looks nice. Thanks

Hair help Please?

lighter is best and more natural... i have green eyes and naturally golden blonde hair...sometimes my hair looks dirty blonde...the first time i wanted mine lighter i went and had it done..tell your hair dresser to do it as natural as possible...or if your more dareing..the second time i did it myself...squeaze about 3 lemons and spread it where you want your hair lighter...go outside and wash your car...pull some weeds for about and hour...before it dries go wash it...that should totally work ;-)

Hair help Please?

I would get a honey brown or a caramel brown with blond highlights, or just get blond-ish highlights. I really like the first two colors, though. Oh, I forgot. I would go to my salon for a dye job, but L'Oreal is my pick.

Hair help Please?

darker

Hair help Please?

Get it done at a salon and then use what ever products they recommend. You should go lighter. since you already have strawberry blond hair you should get different color blond highlights. and when summer is over you can add some low lights to darken it a bit. Good luck. Hope I helped. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.

Hair help Please?

Well I think that if your hair is strawberry blonde you should go lighter not darker as this can be very hard to undo if you don't like the result! I would reccommend using a tint at first, maybe a few shades brighter in a warm shade to compliment your colouring, steer clear of ice-blondes and platinum as this can look very severe and drain your face of colour. Once you've achieved your desired colour use one of the many colour-enhancing shampoos and conditioners to keep your hair in good condition. I hope this helps!

Hair help Please?

I would say lighter. Blonde hair and blue eyes is beautiful and sexy.

Also, I would go to a salon to have it done. Its not easy to lighten your hair. You don't always get the color on the box you buy because everybody's hair pigment is different. Don't even try it, I'm telling you.

Good luck and go blonder, cuz blondes really do have more fun.

Hair help Please?

If you've never dyed your hair. Make sure you have it done by a professional. Sometime the over the counter stuff won't give you the results you want. You will pay more but its worth having someone else do it for you. Just remember if you go lighter or darker it a commitment it looks "skanky" when you have roots so you have to keep up the maintenance.

Hair help Please?

if you don't want to pay to have a professional dye ur hair and u don't want to change ur color too drastically, I totally recommend using Clairol's Natural Instincts line. It's awesome! i've been using it for a long time and it's low commitment and virtually error proof. I naturally have light ashy brown hair and with this product I'm able to change it to a light golden brown that not only looks TOTALLY natural but is alot nicer than my ash brown color. The box also comes with about 2 months supply of conditioner (it's a small tube of ultra concentrated conditioner).Natural Instincts is a great product for first time hair dyers.

Good Luck

Hair help Please?

i also have strawberry blonde hair i think you should get highlightsi tried garnier brush highlights where you can just brush on the dye and leave it 4 20 mins or summit

Hair help Please?

if you've never died your hair before yourself than get a friend to help or go to salon. you want to be sure it's even and that takes a second pair of trained eyes.

also, i'm preferential but i think a brown would look better. not a dark brown if you're very fair, but you are bound to get a tan this summer and if you go light blond and get a dark tan it might look a bit fake. whereas if you go for a brown, it might fade a bit, but it will still conrtast your lovely eyes and frame your face nicely and be darker than your skin.

Help! I'm 20 (girl) and I found gray hairs! Is this normal?

Sorry Kid, but yes it can happen. Some people grey much faster than others.

Help! I'm 20 (girl) and I found gray hairs! Is this normal?

Yep. Its normal. I started to get gray hair at 20 Now I am 36 well will be at the end of the month and I have to color.

Help! I'm 20 (girl) and I found gray hairs! Is this normal?

I got my 1st at 23, This is very common. You might not get any more for years.

Correcting blue hair?

I wanted to go platinum and stripped all color from my hair. It ended up crayola yellow. No problem. Blue/violet toner. But now my hair has is blue/gray. How do I get it out and back to platinum?

Correcting blue hair?

if it is a platinum color already, but bluish, just go get the clarifying shampoo from matrix essentials (available @ salons). this will take out a lot of that blue tone and leave the color blonde.

Correcting blue hair?

dye it dark brown and keep going a shade lighter until you get the color you want

Correcting blue hair?

Use a platinum blonde hair DYE, not hair toner. And you probably left the toner in too long.

Correcting blue hair?

I would suggest going to a professional hair colorist to fix your hair for you. it might cost a little more, but it will most likely be worth it. good luck!!

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

Sun In...blends it.

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

nothing. i just let them be.

i only have a few since im only 22. i started getting them in college cuz i was stressing.

i dont dye my hair so i leave them alone.

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

I just wait until they fall out then you cant see them

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

I don't cover them up. They are soft and shiny. Why would I cover them up?

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

Hair dye, or I pluck em out! I know that's so bad, but I can't help it. If I see it in the mirror, I yank it out or buy some dye at the store.

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

Nothing, but I dont care about that kind of thing....so your choice is a hat, find something else to worry about or spend a lot of money on good dye jobs every 6 weeks or so...you could do the cheap dyes but, well, they look cheap!

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

I get my hair colored at a salon.

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

I use L'Oreal Feria hair dye every other month or so. I did my whole head a few years ago and now I just do the roots. It does a great job to cover the grays in my dark brown hair. If you do your whole head every time your hair could become fragile. I also make sure to put vaseline around my hairline and on my ears before I put the dye on, it makes it easy to wipe off any excess dye that may seep on to my skin.

It's always about $9.99 a box so I stock up when it's on sale!

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

black dye

What do you use to cover up the gray hairs?

Find a salon that offers free consultations and have them explain to you all the options for coloring grey hair. You will then have information upon which to make a decision on which color or highlighting techniques best suit you and your hair.

Dying my hair?

I have naturally dark brown hair and lots of gray in a stripe (similar to a skunk) and I am only 36, so as you can imagine, I dye my hair. I used to dye it black for years. I am part Native American and the black looked more natural. Problem is that it is horrible to remove. I went to a stylist to get it out and it cost me $100. I can't afford to do that again. I was dying it various shades of brown, (using Clairol nice and easy) and tried a dark brown that CAME OUT BLACK. How frustrating. So I want to go with a lighter color next time, just to make sure the black is gone. The last time, the years of black on top of black were so hard to remove, but since this was one application, I am hoping I can get it out. I am waiting until it has been the usual 6 weeks.

So my question is, using the home kits, does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get the black out and go with a lighter color? Preferably with as little damage to my hair as possible. I would prefer a carmel or auburn.

Wash your hair with warm water and clarify shampoo. So it fades a little.

Dying my hair?

Im a hair stylist and I can tell you it is very hard to rmove black hair color from the hair once it is deposited. Alot of over the counter hair color has metalic dye in it and it is very hard to remove. But I have found that Johnson baby shampoo strips alot of color out of hair but it is very drying on the hair also but you can try it just load up on the conditioner.

Dying my hair?

Ok I had a Lady screw my hair upppp! She dyed it black instead of light brown she even admitted it so I had to wash my hair with laundry detergent the powder kind and let me just tell you it started stripping the black out so fast...now of course it DID NOT remove all of it but it did help. You will have to do it more than once of course and yes it isn't hate best thing to do to your hair but that is what helped me ALOT! You know just after that use your normal shampoo otherwise your hair will be horribly dry and nasty.

What hair cut would be good for me? Pics would be a big help.?

I am looking to change my hair. I have thick, wavy shoulder length, auburn hair w/ olive skin, gray-hazel eyes and a heart shaped face. What would be a good hair cut that is about medium length that would change things up a little?I want to keep my bangs and don't want to spend alot of time doing it every morning. I'm looking to lose a few inches of it as well.

What hair cut would be good for me? Pics would be a big help.?

If your hair is thick and wavy, no matter what the length of your hair is, you'll still have issues with your bang. As for the length don't cut your hair too short or it would make you look like a poodle...or go for a radical change altogether, cut you hair really short (less than 10inches) which I would not recommend unless you are ready for that kind of change. You could get layers, but it would come out nicer if you hair was straight...
