If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

No but it sure feels that way. Dye it instead.

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

No they grow back gray, just like they were when you have first plucked them

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

No, that's an old wives tale, they grow back grey, but just one, not double.

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

yea. thats what i heard form a lot of people.

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

Umm, no!

And last I heard if you said Bloody Mary in the mirror three times in the dark she didn't appear either! Hahaha

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

No they do not grow back double but your hair keeps thining if you pluck yoru hairs out so don't do that to often try instead to get your hair colored it worked for my mom and i gave her the idea she looks like alot younger now too

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

I think that's just an urban myth. But do be careful when plucking them out. Why not just let them grow, they add character. Or if they really bother you, just dye your hair.

Good luck!

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

no new ones in grey pop in mighty fast as replacements though

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

NO....only if you shave the hair if u pluck em' it takes longer 2 grow back....

If you pluck out your gray hairs, do they grow back double?

no, that is just a myth, same as shaving your eyebrows and them growing back twice as thick. it'll just be the same old grey hair.

Hair Coloring/At Home /Permenant Type?

I am in my 50's and suddenly my light blond hair is over 80 percent very stubblrn gray! I have tried so called better color brands of color at home. To see after using them I can still see gray! Or within 2 weeks of using the permenant color was applied raging gray roots. At this point what are my options? What is a old woman to do?

Thank you for your kindness

Hair Coloring/At Home /Permenant Type?

As a Hair Stylist my advice is this SAY NO TO AT HOME COLOR!!! It comes in a box and can not in anyway be specifically designed for YOUR hair. A lot of people think that we just want the money for doing the colors and that is completely untrue. Everyone's hair is unique and requires it's own special formula that only a hair stylist can give you. You are going to spend just as much going through box after box of color than just going to the salon once to get it done. Every time there after would just be a "retouch" and would only have to be put on the new hair that has grown out.

I hope this helps!!!

Hair Coloring/At Home /Permenant Type?

u need to go to a hair supply store and buy one bottle of developer and 2 applications of color sold separately like just buy the tubes not the boxed dyes and then when u get home first u will need to just add one of the color tubes to ur roots let it sit for 25 min without the developer added then after 25 min rinse out the color and then 2nd u need to mix the other color tube to the developer make sure there the same oounces 2.0 is the limmit add them together on 2nd round and place this all over ur hair let it sit for another 25 min then rinse out and woohoo grey should be gone i had to do this for my mother alot

Hair Coloring/At Home /Permenant Type?

it is not easy to keep color in your hair you must color at least once a month, although the color basicically stays on your end, just fades some your roots must have the color to retouch the roots either proffessional color or home brands are goo especially the high end colors very important is you have someone do you roots because you have to see every area clearly to get good coverage stick to neutral colors and add 2 caps sunblonde brown to almost any color that helps more good luck

Hair Coloring/At Home /Permenant Type?

As a hairstylist, I have many woman come to me with the same problem you have. First off, coloring hair with over the counter products is a nono for grey hair that is 50 percent or better. I work for a salon called smartstyle and we use what we call the 500 series in socolor. It is formulated with double the amount of hair pigment molecules to ensure better coverage. Use also want to use a neutral base for covering the grey. As far as seeing your roots after two weeks, you can not control how fast your hair grows.

Hair Coloring/At Home /Permenant Type?

With gray hair it is very resistant. There is no pigment in there, and nothing for the colour to latch onto. The only chance you have is to get your hair presoftened first before you apply the colour.Which you would have to go to a salon to get done. That way it opens up the hair, and enables it to accept the colour. If you are over 55,usually they have senior discouts. When you think about it, colour at a salon isn't alot more than drug store colour, and we know what we are doing. It is worth it, instead of colouring your hair every 2 weeks at home, and drying it out. That would be your best option.Good luck.

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

gray/silver hair is beautiful!! it's more attractive than blonde, in my opinion, as it's a bolder shade and shiny...

I saw a woman walking down the street a few weeks ago with a classy long black overcoat and shoulder-length silver hair parted in the middle... and she looked so graceful and stunning. i know when i have silver hair i'll be excited with it.

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

My hair is starting to change, and I let all my colorings grow out, and it did look bad. There is not enough of it yet. In a few years, I will try again, and if my silver hair is not at 50%, I will color it till it is.

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

that is the ugliest avatar I have ever seen!

anyway, no I dont because I dont have any "silver" hair.

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

Your answer would be little ole ladies with Blue Hair...

Sliver is way better than Blue!

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

It's taken as a sign of age.

However, when I was in the first grade, I was friends with a girl who was born with silver hair. It's just so much more attractive without the wrinkles, honestly.

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

Hope you feel the same way when you do get your beautiful silver hair. As for me, I went gray "not silver" when I was 25, and believe you me I dyed over it right away. There was nothing attractive about it. It was not a pretty color and was course, and definitely was not shiny. Not to mention I had people think I was much older just because of my hair. Hope you get what you want.

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

I agree with you. It is quite stunning. People that dye their don't seem to realize that it just enhances your aging. They just look like an older person with dyed hair. They have no silver hair on their head but they have wrinkles everywhere. Our hands, neck and eyes will always tell our age. So what's the point. I would rather grow old jazzy and gracefully.

Who doesn't like their silver hair and dyes over it?

I am 23 so I don't like that my hair is turning gray already! I am going to get it highlighted next month. My mom went gray early... completely gray before she turned 30 so I imagine I will be the same way!

What brand of curling iron is best for bleached hair?

I'm letting my bleached hair grow out and will stay gray. My hair is neither wavy nor straight and I'd like to have a bit of instant curl. My problem is that I don't know what brand or type of curling iron would be best for my hair. My hair is about halfway down my back so I don't expect really curly hair but I'm tired of the way it looks now.

What brand of curling iron is best for bleached hair?

I guess one of the better brands like Revlon or Avon would be better...

try to get ceramic curling irons... they're less likely to damage your hair

What brand of curling iron is best for bleached hair?

Revlon brands always work the best for me.

What brand of curling iron is best for bleached hair?

Buy a ceramic curling irons. There best for grey hair cause that don;t cause yellowing, cause they don't overheat, so there no burning.

What brand of curling iron is best for bleached hair?

Actually, NONE! Thermal styling tools are very damaging, especially on weak, bleached hair. I don't suggest using one, period!!! But, if you must, get a thermal-heat protector spray (Nexxus makes a good one) and buy a ceramic curling iron. Ceramic irons heat up evenly and get really hot, which means you don't have to leave the iron in your hair very long.

I have multiple issues with my hair. I need advice!?

I am going gray. My hair is naturally straight and fine. But I have alot of hair. My face shape is round. I have always loved volume and curls but with coloring away the gray and perms, I can't grow my hair out long because it get so dry. I know I want to keep coloring the gray so how do I get a style with volume and a style I can curl and the curl will stay in without a perm?

By the way, my hair length is just above my shoulders right now and I need a haircust and color. So I need to decide if I will still do the perm about a week after I get the color done.

I have multiple issues with my hair. I need advice!?

I am a licensed cosmetologist and have many clients with hair like yours. I perm and color their hair with no problems of dry hair. Sometimes dryness occurs if the perm solution is too strong, if it is left on too long, or not thoroughly rinsed. I color their hair immediately after the perm by using a deposit-only, semi-permanent hair color. Instead of growing out and leaving roots that need retouched, semi-permanent color gradually fades and the fading happens in almost exactly the same amount of time that a retouch of the roots would be needed. Using this method requires 10 volume developer rather than 20 volume. You might ask your hairdresser about trying this method. I use Framesi Hair Color and hair care products. As for a style for a round face and with fine hair, I stay away from a lot of layering and blunt cut the hair leaving it slightly shorter in the back with the sides at about chin level. Of course, there are variations of this type of cut so that my customers won't all be walking around with the same hair style. If you haven't discussed this with your hairdresser, do so before your next perm and/or color. It can be difficult for fine hair to hold curl without a perm. Discuss this with your hairdresser and perhaps he or she can work this out for you. Good luck.

I have multiple issues with my hair. I need advice!?

OK first there is a shampoo for adding volume to the hair and the hair product is called TLC. use the yellow bottle for the volume. stay away from the perms and use curling rods or hair rollers to get ur curl . also since ur hair is dry do deep conditioners and keep the hair moist. dont do the perm , just dye ur hair and just follow this through if not u would get the perm in a month
