I have multiple issues with my hair. I need advice!?

I am going gray. My hair is naturally straight and fine. But I have alot of hair. My face shape is round. I have always loved volume and curls but with coloring away the gray and perms, I can't grow my hair out long because it get so dry. I know I want to keep coloring the gray so how do I get a style with volume and a style I can curl and the curl will stay in without a perm?

By the way, my hair length is just above my shoulders right now and I need a haircust and color. So I need to decide if I will still do the perm about a week after I get the color done.

I am a licensed cosmetologist and have many clients with hair like yours. I perm and color their hair with no problems of dry hair. Sometimes dryness occurs if the perm solution is too strong, if it is left on too long, or not thoroughly rinsed. I color their hair immediately after the perm by using a deposit-only, semi-permanent hair color. Instead of growing out and leaving roots that need retouched, semi-permanent color gradually fades and the fading happens in almost exactly the same amount of time that a retouch of the roots would be needed. Using this method requires 10 volume developer rather than 20 volume. You might ask your hairdresser about trying this method. I use Framesi Hair Color and hair care products. As for a style for a round face and with fine hair, I stay away from a lot of layering and blunt cut the hair leaving it slightly shorter in the back with the sides at about chin level. Of course, there are variations of this type of cut so that my customers won't all be walking around with the same hair style. If you haven't discussed this with your hairdresser, do so before your next perm and/or color. It can be difficult for fine hair to hold curl without a perm. Discuss this with your hairdresser and perhaps he or she can work this out for you. Good luck.

OK first there is a shampoo for adding volume to the hair and the hair product is called TLC. use the yellow bottle for the volume. stay away from the perms and use curling rods or hair rollers to get ur curl . also since ur hair is dry do deep conditioners and keep the hair moist. dont do the perm , just dye ur hair and just follow this through if not u would get the perm in a month
