Hair help Please?

I want to dye my hair but have it look natural. I have dark blue- gray blue eyes. and fair skin. I also have light strawberry blond hair and I think it would be fun to get a new style for school next year. what colors do you suggest I could go either lighter or darker. Also what brands do you suggest. and how could I take care of the colored hair so that it looks nice. Thanks

lighter is best and more natural... i have green eyes and naturally golden blonde hair...sometimes my hair looks dirty blonde...the first time i wanted mine lighter i went and had it done..tell your hair dresser to do it as natural as possible...or if your more dareing..the second time i did it myself...squeaze about 3 lemons and spread it where you want your hair lighter...go outside and wash your car...pull some weeds for about and hour...before it dries go wash it...that should totally work ;-)

I would get a honey brown or a caramel brown with blond highlights, or just get blond-ish highlights. I really like the first two colors, though. Oh, I forgot. I would go to my salon for a dye job, but L'Oreal is my pick.

Get it done at a salon and then use what ever products they recommend. You should go lighter. since you already have strawberry blond hair you should get different color blond highlights. and when summer is over you can add some low lights to darken it a bit. Good luck. Well I think that if your hair is strawberry blonde you should go lighter not darker as this can be very hard to undo if you don't like the result! I would reccommend using a tint at first, maybe a few shades brighter in a warm shade to compliment your colouring, steer clear of ice-blondes and platinum as this can look very severe and drain your face of colour. Once you've achieved your desired colour use one of the many colour-enhancing shampoos and conditioners to keep your hair in good condition. I hope this helps!

I would say lighter. Blonde hair and blue eyes is beautiful and sexy.

Also, I would go to a salon to have it done. Its not easy to lighten your hair. You don't always get the color on the box you buy because everybody's hair pigment is different. Don't even try it, I'm telling you.

If you've never dyed your hair. Make sure you have it done by a professional. Sometime the over the counter stuff won't give you the results you want. You will pay more but its worth having someone else do it for you. Just remember if you go lighter or darker it a commitment it looks "skanky" when you have roots so you have to keep up the maintenance.

if you don't want to pay to have a professional dye ur hair and u don't want to change ur color too drastically, I totally recommend using Clairol's Natural Instincts line. It's awesome! i've been using it for a long time and it's low commitment and virtually error proof. I naturally have light ashy brown hair and with this product I'm able to change it to a light golden brown that not only looks TOTALLY natural but is alot nicer than my ash brown color. The box also comes with about 2 months supply of conditioner (it's a small tube of ultra concentrated conditioner).Natural Instincts is a great product for first time hair dyers.

if you've never died your hair before yourself than get a friend to help or go to salon. you want to be sure it's even and that takes a second pair of trained eyes.

also, i'm preferential but i think a brown would look better. not a dark brown if you're very fair, but you are bound to get a tan this summer and if you go light blond and get a dark tan it might look a bit fake. whereas if you go for a brown, it might fade a bit, but it will still conrtast your lovely eyes and frame your face nicely and be darker than your skin.
