Do you think it is true that surya henna hair dye contains NO ppd or heavy metals? Yet covers gray.?

the color is very good. I am allergic to ppd in normal dyes..even the ones that claim to be natural. I mean like blistering on ears %26amp; neck. Did not happen w/ surya cream...but scalp seemed dry.

I would really recommend that you get a more pure form of henna powder, which we call body art quality henna powder. If you feel dry you shoudl mositurize afterwards with amla oil or a hair oil or deep conditioner. Also you can do a henna gloss with henna powder and make your hair extra soft and get extra moisturizing. But for covering grays you may also need to add indigo. It depends on what color you are trying to achieve. Is it a red tone, a brown tone, a black tone or somewhere in between.

You have to mix and blend to get the color you want naturally. That will make a big difference.
