My natural hair color is med/brown with a gray hairs.
What blonde lights and no reds in hair.
How do I avoid the redish color after bleaching hair blonde.?
Do NOT leave it in longer! It won't do anything but damage your hair! My natural hair color is medium brown and I have be dyeing it light blonde for 20 years. The one girl was right, I go to Sally Beauty Supply and get the red/gold corrector. It works very well but if you have hard water you need to do a claryfying treatment and use a hard water shampoo and conditioner. It really does work in getting that red brassiness out. By the way... as you keep coloring it every three months, the color eventually corrects itself.

It depends if you are bleaching at home or having it done at a salon. At a salon they can use a toner if the color comes out brassy or has a reddish tint. If you are doing it at home your hair maybe too dark for the type of bleach you are using. Most brunettes have natural reddish tones in their hair.
