Tips for multicolored hair...?

Okay, so my slave (wife, whatever) dyed her graying brown hair red. Then about 6 months later it was dyed a slightly lighter color of red. Then, again, a brighter color of red. Then we decided she would go blonde for the summer. Only, the only thing that turned blonde was the gray on top (maybe about 2 inches). Everything else stayed red with the bottom being dark red and the middle being a bit lighter.

At this point she just wants some sort of solid color, be it red or blonde. Any ideas using over the counter dyes? By the way, her hair is almost to her waist and quite thick.

Tips for multicolored hair...?

She needs to go to a professional cause red doesn't go away...ever!

The only way to get rid of it is to use bleach which is not recommended at home.

She may burn her hair badly.

The only other way is to cut it.

Now,if she wants to dye it red again, she can buy a darker shade of red which may cover all previous colors.

For really good results though she will have to go to a salon.

Good luck!

Over the counter dye that you buy to turn you hair blonde isn't going to cover the red what she needs to do is go to Sally's beauty salon and get the bleach. Its mainly used to put highlights in your hair but you could put it all over. Going completely blonde on the other hand is very hard to manage.(trust me been there done that) What she might wanna do is just use the blonde to put highlights threw out the red or (chunks). With her hair being so long and thick you might need to purchase 2 kits. They are only about 8 bucks a piece. there is a cap already in the kit or you can purchase the foil wraps at Sally's as well which ever way she wants to do it. Hope this helps....
