I went gray at 17, and I'm 30 now and I can not ever get my hair color even! Help!?

I think you should leave some of the gray and do a reverse frosting or streaking (small strands throughout your head) of whatever your original color was or maybe a little lighter. I think this will give you a 'highlighted' effect and might be pretty.

HAIR COLOR IS A TRICKY THING. MANY FACTORS CONTRIBUTE TO HOW IT TURNS OUT, SUCH AS PREGNACY, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION, HORMONES, HARD OR WELL WATER, MIXING THE COLOR, HOW LONG YOU PROCESS IT, THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. VISIT YOUR LOCAL BEAUTY SCHOOL FOR INEXPENSIVE HELP.

no- one's hair colour is even. There are different shades and tones caused by light bleaching etc. If it really bothers you go to a salon and have it done professionally, but seriously I wouldn't worry too much
