Will my hair fall out if i dye it again?

Ive been really worried lately. My hair used to be blonde. My roots would grow out quickly. So I'd dye it again. Finally I got tired of it, and just reccently I dyed it brown. I really like it. But Ive been getting frustrated how the color began to fade. So about a month ago, I dyed it again. But now its growing back to the lighter color. I know it must be doing that because it was blonde for a long time, right? Well I like my hair being dark. So Im REALLYYY wanting to dye it black this time. Will my hair fall out? Will it dry out, even if I do almost anything I can do to keep it healthy? except dying it... Will my hair turn gray?? I have always had thin hair. And Im trying to keep it healthy so maybe it would grow thicker. Also, I thought it was weird how the last two times I dyed it, I didn't feel any burning on my scalp. Could that mean It's drying out? Please, answer these questions. But I would rather not see any dramatic post. :[ hahh... I stress out over little things. Thanks.

Okay. This is something I have mucch experience with. My hair is also originally blonde, and it's been purple, fire engine red, auburn, and now black.

So to answer your questions.

Will my hair fall out?

No. Hair dye is made so it's not going to completely RUIN your hair.

Will it dry out?

Depends. My hair is a teensy bit dried out, but I manage to keep the frizz and split ends at a very managable level because I use this shampoo %26amp;%26amp; conditioner that I get from Sally's Beauty Store. It's a generic shampoo and conditioner so it's cheap, and it does an EXCELLENT job at restoring the moisture in your hair. The brand name is simply "Generic" And it comes in a very plain black and white bottle.

Will your hair turn gray?

Of course not. Unless you have that thing where you hair grows in naturally gray even if your young. But somehow I'm thinking you dont have that condition. ~.^

As for the thickness, try finding some spray at the store that helps thicken/volumize your hair, I already have fairly thick hair, but I use this stuff anyways because I like having alot of volume to my hair.

I have yet to feel burning on my scalp. ever.

And my hair is not that dry.

ok...people (like my mother) dye their hair all the time (every 3 months or so) and nothing happens. you can relax. :) just to avoid damage, give your hair a little while between dye jobs, and use special shampoo for color treated hair. the best thing to do would be to give your local salon a quick call and ask them about it. they know their stuff ;)

ehhh don't dye it black! i have naturally black hair and i can't stand it when other people dye their hair blackkk it looks so fake! Anywho hmm use a semi permanent color! It doesn't have ammonia so your hair shouldn't fall out

Well, I don't think your hair will fall off. I just think you need to dye your hair black because black dye is one of the strongest dyes.....the worst thing that can happen is that it might damage your hair a little....I might make it a bit dull and dry. Try going to a professional salon if you haven't already. Have them trim you hair after you dye it black because your ends are the oldest hair and will dry VERY quick because it's been exposed more than your roots. Have your stylist deep condition your hair so that it remains some what healthier. Black is always a good choice for people who want to transition from blonde to brunette (i.e. Ashlee Simpson) because even when the black starts to fade away....it lightens up to a dark to light brown which is also very pretty! We've all been through this....so you're not alone. If you're worried about how much damage it will cause you....just thinkn about all of those celebrities to dye their hair every other week......just a thought!

well I also dye my hair black and love it!!

when you go darker than your natural color it does less damage..you can also just dye your roots with color match root touch up..it works really well

try using a deposit only color..

it your hair still has elasticity meaning when you tug lightly it springs back your good...

If it breaks, I'd wait awhile before dying again

your suppose to wait at least 3 months be 4 u dye again but most people wont wait that long you can do your roots that would be safer

Well. . .80-100 hairs fall out of your hair naturally everyday and I know people who dye their hair every like month and a half and their hair does the same thing and they told me that its just normal if you get your hair dyed. Your hair will be fine!!!!
