I'm only 16 and my mom noticed a strand of white hair on my head when she was giving me a hair cut. She pulled it out and it was a thick strand of white hair.

I have no gray hair and they're very black, should I be worried?

my girlfriend who i met in the 6th grade,

had one gray hair when she was in 7th grade.. I had none

now many many many many years later.. we are still friends

i cut her hair monthly....I am a hairstylist

I have to color my hair because it has a lot of gray

and she still has that one gray hair and does not color her hair

I think i will shave her head next time i see her LOL

if you get more gray hairs.. just put some fun colors on your hair

Nothing to worry about you just might go gray very young- nothing that some hairdye cant cover up!

just take the withe strands of hair,if there is a lot then you have a problem.

no you shouldnt be worried but it is a gray strand of hair. all women at different ages get it. even my 11 year old had a gray once i a blue moon

If you worry you will get more white hair! I knew someone in high school who had a one inch clump of gray (white) hair. My son who is only 15 has a couple of white hair as well. If you had any head traumas this could be causing the white hair. Gray hair and white hair are the same.
