No. I had one and my niece plucked it several months ago when she was doing my hair (pretty much to prove that I had it). Anyway now when she does my hair she can't find any. I don't mind either way. Just saying that pulling makes more is a myth.

PS Never put anything "natural" on your hair that has a bad odor because your scalp WILL absorb the odor and it won't easily come out.
